چکیده
In this paper we present a non-intrusive model-based gaze tracking system. The system estimates the 3-0 pose of a user’s head by tracking as few as six facial feature points. The system locates a human face using a statistical color model without any mark on the face and then finds and tracks the facial features, such as eyes, nostrils and lip corners. A full perspective model is employed to m p these feature points onto the 30 pose. Several techniques have been developed to track the features points and recover from failure. We currently achieve a frame rate of 15+ flames per second using an HP 9000 workstation with aframgrabber and a Canon VC-Cl camera. The application of the system has been demonstrated by a gazedriven panorama image viewer. The potential applications of the system include multimodal interfaces, virtual reality and video-teleconferencing.

Potentials of Evolving Linear Models in Tracking Control Design for Nonlinear Variable Structure Systems
Evolving models have found applications in many real world systems. In this paper, potentials of the Evolving Linear Models (ELMs) in tracking control design for nonlinear variable structure systems are introduced. At first, an ELM is introduced as a dynamic single input, single output (SISO) linear model whose parameters as well as dynamic orders of input and output signals can change through ...
متن کاملNonlinear H Control for Uncertain Flexible Joint Robots with Unscented Kalman Filter
Todays, use of combination of two or more methods was considered to control of systems. In this paper ispresented how to design of a nonlinear H∞ (NL-H∞) controller for flexible joint robot (FJR) based on boundedUKF state estimator. The UKF has more advantages to standard EKF such as low bios and no need toderivations. In this research, based on spong primary model for FJRs, same as rigid robot...
متن کاملDelay-dependent stability for transparent bilateral teleoperation system: an LMI approach
There are two significant goals in teleoperation systems: Stability and performance. This paper introduces an LMI-based robust control method for bilateral transparent teleoperation systems in presence of model mismatch. The uncertainties in time delay in communication channel, task environment and model parameters of master-slave systems is called model mismatch. The time delay in communicatio...

متن کاملDesigning a quantum genetic controller for tracking the path of quantum systems
Based on learning control methods and computational intelligence, control of quantum systems is an attractive field of study in control engineering. What is important is to establish control approach ensuring that the control process converges to achieve a given control objective and at the same time it is simple and clear. In this paper, a learning control method based on genetic quantum contr...
